365 Crafting Time Days 197 -210

Only missed one day this fortnight! Yay!
Snail mail + a new paint by number
Made an envelope + wrapped up gifts and decorated a gift bag for my friend
New dividers for my TAFE folder + weekly planner pages
I made my own cat shaped stationery + more snail mail
Decorating a letter + decorating an envelope for my first ever letter to Hawaii!
I suck at making pom poms + weekly planner pages
I paint my other paint by number nearly every day but do other craft so I don't share it. However, since it's so big and the bits to paint are so small it was hurting my back and frustrating me, so I traded it for an easier one for the next few days!

Have you made anything good lately?

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Hello! I am trying something new today and doing my first ever gift guide! Mother's Day is coming up, I am lucky enough to have a wonderful relationship with my Mum and I know not everyone is as lucky as I am. If you have someone to buy a Mother's Day gift for this year here are a few ideas...
  1. River Island hand bag - $73 - my Mum personally loves handbags!
  2. High tea at the Hotel Windsor - $69 - take your Mum and it's a gift for you too! Win-win!
  3. Six Scents Candle - $35 - highly recommend the honey rose scent
  4. kikki.K jewellery box - $30 - very pretty
  5. Ezibuy luxury robe - $60 - a bit cliche maybe, but cozy!
Don't forget a card!
  1. CocoPress on etsy - $6.50
  2. BettyTurbo on etsy - $5.25 (the BEST card)
  3. Hard To Find - $7.90
  4. Wit & Whistle - $4.50
What are you going to get for your Mum this year? Or is there another person in your life that you celebrate this day with?
Take care

Daily Instax April 9 - 22

The last fortnight has been pretty good! I went back to TAFE and I got to hang out with my friends a few times so it was really nice! :-)
So happy in his new bed + so happy my windowsill was fixed so her butt can go on it again
Mum visited and as per usual Violet is a traitor + floppy eared idiot with his ball <3
Seemed to drive a lot this day (don't worry, I was parked when I took this!) + I made banana cake mmmm
New blankets (so spoiled) + dream hair accomplished - brown with purple tips!

Pancakes in Katoomba + first day of term selfie with my new favourite hoody (what is wrong with my face here?)
Ended up buying another new bed because these two fought over it, then the impossible happened, they were both using them at the same time! + my little sleepyhead - it's so cold so the cats are happy because there are blankets out!
Take care

Washi Tape Organisation

I love washi tape. Did you know that? Did having a new washi tape in my Friday Fancies all the time not indicate that? Hmm. Well, I guess I better share photos of my whole collection just to further prove that I love it! Now, I really don't have THAT many rolls, considering I know people who have hundreds!
This is it! I bought these storage tubs from Daiso, and they fit them nicely and I can tuck more in along the sides too. Plenty of space to expand my collection haha. I have it organised into sections, so skinny tapes and animal tape on the left. Stripes and dots in the middle, miscellaneous ones on the right, and glittery tapes in the back.

On the side of the drawer I keep the washi samples that I've been sent. I love the Hooray one, and would love a whole roll of it for myself but can't find any! I also have playing cards for when I send samples to my pen pals.

And here's another angle. I use washi for so many things, and I love all of them. I'm going to do another post sharing my 5 favourites soon!
What's your favourite washi tape in your collection?

March Goal Recap

I'm a bit late with this post this month, but here it is!
  1. sleep better - Um. Really failing with this. My sleep is all over the place of late :-(
  2. eat better and cook more - Cooking more, but my food choices are still...bad
  3. focus on my blog - OK, sorry blog I haven't focused on you but I am feeling inspired now!
  4. Start exercising more - Mega super fail
  5. finish my course - Only 9 weeks left!!!
  6. find volunteer work at a vet clinic and get into my vet nurse course - I am organising my resume and will start taking them to vet clinics soon!
  7. go on regular coffee dates with myself - Boo! I didn't do this at all
  8. be more organised -Still my most succesful goal! I am so organised right now, I love it!
  9. goodreads challenge - 24 books - I am still in a reading slump and I am 5 books behind schedule!
  10.  Daily instax again! - still going well!
Oh well, hopefully April will be better (it's not shaping up to be haha). I'm not putting too much pressure on myself, that has the opposite affect with me!
Yes I spent 15 minutes making this

How are you going with your 2015 goals?

Easter Show 2015

My friend and I went to the Easter Show when it was on. It's a yearly thing here in Australia. It goes for 2 weeks and it's an agricultural show, so there are thousands of animals, heaps of food, displays, show bags, arts and crafts, and so many things to buy. It was such a great day, even though it poured when we got there. We got completely soaked and had to buy plastic ponchos! Fortunately the rain eventually stopped and we got to see everything we wanted!
*screaming*
*more screaming*
*mouth is open but only dogs can hear the noise I am emitting*
So, each year they have a dog section and there are different dogs shown each day. We were there on the Golden Retriever, Rhodesian Ridgeback, and Italian Greyhound day. The Italian Greyhounds were cute, but I am a sucker for big dogs. I love how goofy big dogs are (just look at Amos), so I was so excited to see two beautiful big breeds!
Lil Sebastian
So pretty

Goats are hilarious to me
Tiny pompoms? NOPE! Tiny chicks! Eep!
We saw some hatching! I've never seen that before
Snazzy duck hair dos
Is this not the most disapproving goose you've ever seen?
"You should rethink your life choices"
The animals are the best at the show. They have this big petting area, they also have horse, sheep, pig, and cow competitions. Rabbits and cats as well, but they only show one of these a day, I'm assuming because rabbits are prey animals and they can't have cats near them or they might die of shock (not even joking, this can happen with little fluffies). It's so great seeing all the animals and smelling the farm-y smells - I love it.
Ferris wheels are so pretty but they scare me
They have cake decorating competitions! This was my favourite
And of course, so much food! This was my extremely healthy lunch (hey, it has fruit on it!)

Bonus photos, me meeting a Golden Retriever! This guy was with one of my brothers colleagues and he told me to find her! Her husband let us meet the dog and I thought I was going to cry! He was so cute and I fell in love. It was such a great day! <3 <3 <3
