Friday Fancies

Hello! This week has been great! I finished TAFE for the year on Monday and our last day was spent swimming with dogs at our teachers business, and it's my birthday today! Nathan will be home early to take me to lunch and then we can hang out all day! 

My first favourite is of course the Jurassic World trailer, it's no secret that Jurassic Park is my all time favourite film and you have no idea how excited I am to see this next year!

365 Crafting Time Days 44-57

Hello! I did a little bit better this fortnight and only missed 4 days instead of 5, oh well!

Pom poms + my first ever hand carved stamp

I'm such a slow crocheter! + making the ugliest mail I could think of (I still think it looks good though?)

I got this Santa gnome from Bunnings and painted him whilst I watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy

It took me 3 days to finish him up, I think he's super cute + a page of my Wreck This Journal

Trying out my new kikki.k stamps + another hand carved stamp - I need more practice but it's quite fun!

Daily Instax November 5-18

Up to something + flowers in my garden <3

Terrible photo of me with my awesome Mum + one of my besties visited from Melbourne and we ate lots of food

I got a close up lens for my instax and had fun testing it out

My little study buddy + I was going to take a nice photo of Nathan and I said "oh, is it OK if your tattoo is in the picture" and he said "yeah that's fine I mean who...." and stopped...he was going to say "who reads your blog?". How RUDE. I'll have you know I have a few followers!! So I took this pic haha. He actually meant his family doesn't know about my blog, but still! Haha I'm a classy lady

Blue Mountains - Scenic World Katoomba

Recently Nathan and I started going on more bush walks (well, we've been on two haha) and the Blue Mountains are just so beautiful I decided I need to share them! 

Starting with our first walk at Scenic World in Katoomba. There's a boarded walkway which is nice, however the walk down was full of scary little steps but it was still fun! 

The Three Sisters are just amazing, and I loved this waterfall.

This just made me smile, how lovely!

There was a gigantic old tree, it was so massive I could hardly see it all.

This is the path that was there, as you can see they just built it into the bush

There was also a grotto during the walk down with water trickling down - it was so pretty!

 This huge tree had it's middle burnt during a fire, so they built a seat into it? As you do.

We were tired by the time we walked the 45mins down and then the 45mins of the walking track, it doesn't sound much but the walk down was hard because we aren't used to it and I was holding on for dear life for a lot of it so my muscles hurt haha. We decided to catch the Scenic Railway back up, which is the steepest train track in the world...oh my goodness...I was SO scared it was hilarious! The view was spectacular but I didn't get any photos because of the fear and all. 

It was such a nice walk, we will definitely go back one day!
