Hello! I went to Oz Comic Con on Saturday and it was pretty great! It was definitely better than Supanova, there was lots of great cosplay and so many things I wanted to buy! Here's the stuff I bought.
Adorable dinosaur fairy lights! Amazing!
The only Star Trek Voyager thing I found all day! A patch for my collection
I found this awesome She-Hulk figurine and couldn't leave her there
AMAZING Buffy prints - the detail is so incredible
A close up of the faces, incredible. Unfortunately I didn't grab a card and forget who drew these! Damn
Killer Cat Woman and Poison Ivy prints by Lauths. I also asked for a Wonder Woman print, but they accidentally gave me Power Girl and I didn't realise til I got home! I contacted them, so hopefully he can replace it for me!!
I will definitely be returning to Oz Comic Con next year, it was a great day!
Last weekend I went to Supanova Sydney with my eldest brother Glenn. It was really great, even though it was the busiest I've ever been to. I've been going for a few years and it's been getting steadily busier each year but this year was insane. I couldn't move in the Popcultcha section! There was lots of great cosplay and really awesome things to buy. Unfortunately I couldn't get too many photos of cosplay as it was too busy, but I got a few pictures!
We saw this girl dressed as Vanellope in a coffee shop before we went in, so cute!
A Mario that I think looks like Michael Cera
Mr Fredricksen from Up!!
This was definitely my favourite. Louise and Tina!
Now for the stuff I bought...don't judge me I was excited!
I told Glenn I was looking for a Jigglypuff toy to buy and eventually I found this huge one! <3
Labyrinth is one of my favourite movies, and I was walking around and spotted this guy. If you've seen Labyrinth you will know who this is*. He looks a little goofy, but I love it so much!
Giant donut pillow!! It's so soft and perfect. It looks so cute on our couch.
Popcultcha do a deal at Supanova for the Pop! figurines so I got a few that I wanted, including Egon Spengler from Ghostbusters which is one I really wanted!
Finally, my absolute favourite purchase of the day - an Ursula figurine. I was so happy to find this as Ursula is one of my favourite Disney villains!
Bonus pic of Violet resting near the donut pillow. She'd had a hard morning of sleeping and eating.
That's everything, thanks for reading!

* here's the scene in Labyrinth with the cute little worm!
We went for a stroll up the main road in Springwood recently and I bought a few things for around the house that I couldn't resist!
I couldn't leave this clock in the store...it is just way too cute! And at $10 it was pretty cheap too!
Teeny tiny puppy coin tin. I've already told Nathan that the money I save in this is going to buy us a puppy. Seems fitting, right?!
I also went to my favourite store in Springwood, the New Age Markets. They sell 50 million things in that place and I'd been eyeing off their amethyst chunks for a while and decided to buy a small one.
The final thing is also from the New Age Markets and it's a strawberry bird. A strawbird? A birdberry? It's amazing and I could not leave him there! Look at his tail -
I love Lush! Nothing is tested on animals and all of their products are natural, they smell amazing and I've only found a couple of products that I dislike out of a million I have tried! I needed to buy something for Mother's Day so I decided to get myself a couple of things too!
My Mum mentioned she wanted to try this so I got a tub for her for Mother's Day. I have some in my shower and it's so lovely and moisturising but very oily. Best to use at night so it sinks in.
Cupcake! This is a new one for me, I've heard it's really good and I have been a bit pimply lately so I am hoping this helps. Smells chocolatey!
Another new one for me! Tea Tree Water. I am hoping this helps with my breakouts.
Mint Julips. I've tried Lush's Popcorn lip scrub but it was so gross...this one though is heavenly and I don't think I will ever try another one from them!
One of my top 5 Lush products - Honey I Washed the Kids. Oh my goodness, it smells AMAZING...please note it does not taste amazing. (Um, I heard that from a friend...yes...a friend)
I hope all the Mother's out there had a wonderful Mother's Day! My husband and I took my Mum out to lunch and we had a really nice afternoon. Here's the gift we got for her
We got her some Ro's Argon Body Conditioner from Lush and a cute mug.
We saw this design one day while we were shopping and my Mum loved it! I found the mug on
I loved the Knife of Never Letting Go and these two are at the top of my to read list!
The final purchase from the Book Depository is City of Bones, the first book in The Mortal Instrument series. I've been hearing so much about this lately so I decided to jump on the bandwagon.
The last 2 books I got at The Turning Page in Springwood, which is my local bookstore. It's such a nice little shop!
I went a little nuts this week with makeup purchases. I needed a few things and some other things were just on sale or I wanted them! Here is my haul!
Firstly I got a few Revlon nail polishes. Rio Cool, Peach Smoothie (scented), Ultra Violet, Pink Lingerie, Silver Star and a top coat . A couple from Priceline and four from Gloss who had them on sale!
Second from Priceline I got Face of Australia Charcoal liquid eyeliner and Revlon ColorStay Aqua Mineral powder. I like the powder but not the tiny brush. I had to buy a bigger brush!
I got the Paparazzi Princess eyeshadow quad from Chi Chi, two nail polishes (Walk the Walk and Cyber Vixen) and a brush. I got the primer free! The brush is great, no shedding. Chi Chi is pretty cheap and it's really good!
I got these last two polishes from Sportsgirl and the pink lip liner too :)
Finally, a new makeup case from Gloss for my handbag. Very pretty.
