I receive A Beautiful Mess's Happy Mail every month and thought I would share my favourite pieces from each month! Here are my favourites from June.
Awww this one is lovely
I love that you can use this at any time of the year for anyone!
I can never have enough notepaper!
This is my favourite piece!
You should definitely check Happy Mail out - it's $17 (inc postage!) a month and you get heaps of cards and other paper goodies. If you buy a nice card they're usually at least $5, so it's great value for money and you don't see any of these products elsewhere. I love it!
Last weekend I went to Supanova Sydney with my eldest brother Glenn. It was really great, even though it was the busiest I've ever been to. I've been going for a few years and it's been getting steadily busier each year but this year was insane. I couldn't move in the Popcultcha section! There was lots of great cosplay and really awesome things to buy. Unfortunately I couldn't get too many photos of cosplay as it was too busy, but I got a few pictures!
We saw this girl dressed as Vanellope in a coffee shop before we went in, so cute!
A Mario that I think looks like Michael Cera
Mr Fredricksen from Up!!
This was definitely my favourite. Louise and Tina!
Now for the stuff I bought...don't judge me I was excited!
I told Glenn I was looking for a Jigglypuff toy to buy and eventually I found this huge one! <3
Labyrinth is one of my favourite movies, and I was walking around and spotted this guy. If you've seen Labyrinth you will know who this is*. He looks a little goofy, but I love it so much!
Giant donut pillow!! It's so soft and perfect. It looks so cute on our couch.
Popcultcha do a deal at Supanova for the Pop! figurines so I got a few that I wanted, including Egon Spengler from Ghostbusters which is one I really wanted!
Finally, my absolute favourite purchase of the day - an Ursula figurine. I was so happy to find this as Ursula is one of my favourite Disney villains!
Bonus pic of Violet resting near the donut pillow. She'd had a hard morning of sleeping and eating.
That's everything, thanks for reading!

* here's the scene in Labyrinth with the cute little worm!
I am a really nosey person. I love knowing things about people, and some of my favourite blog posts are things that people bought and what's in my bag posts. Today I decided to share what I took in my bag to Supanova on Saturday!
Starting with my bag. It's one that I bought a few years ago from here. If you're a fan of Terry Pratchett you'll know why I bought this bag haha.
Starting with the boring stuff. My purse from Target, my phone case is from Typo and I bought my self-defense keychain on eBay and my brother gave me Finn for my birthday.
Of course I had the tickets with me (thankfully), my DS in it's case (you get a lot of streetpasses at Supanova!), my Instax camera, and my sunglasses case that I bought from ASOS!
I went to Supanova with my brother Glenn and it was his birthday the other day. I got him the ticket as a present and then bought him some fudge and honeycomb as he is a fan of delicious food like me. I also had some gum, my puffer and a clif bar. I was in Glebe recently and went to the Cruelty Free Shop and they had these on sale. I knew that the food might be awful at the Dome and I was right so I am glad I brought a filling snack with me!! Pretty tasty.
So that's everything, not very exciting I know! Have a great day!
I've recently gone through a period of nostalgia and I became very interested in finding all of the toys that I used to have when I was a kid. I hate that I had all of these cool toys and when I became a teenager I guess I thought it was a great idea to throw them all away! Now I am trying to slowly collect bits and pieces so one day when I have kids I can show them the stuff I used to play with and say things like "back in my day we didn't have hover boards - we had to use our imagination" (I assume hover boards will be invented by the time any kids I have are teenagers).
First are my trolls which I shared photos of when I purchased them, but they are so cute I wanted to share them again! I am quite sure I had the purple haired one when I was a kid!
On my desk I have my Polly Pockets. I had the clock one when I was little and for some unknown STUPID reason I threw it away?! I found one on eBay and the seller was also selling the cat one and I couldn't resist it.
I love this one. It still has the girl and her little white cat in it. It's so pretty.
A close up of the clock and thankfully it still works! My old one used to sit on my bedside table.
And inside the clock. Unfortunately this one only came with two of the figurines and if I remember correctly there was a Grandmother figure and possibly another girl, but I don't mind! I am happy I found it.
That's all for today. Hopefully as time goes by I can collect a few more bits and pieces and I also started a Sylvanian Family (aka Calico Critters in the USA) collection because my Mum wouldn't buy them for me when I was little as they were so expensive (and I don't blame her!). Maybe I will share pics of those one day too!
Thanks for reading! Do you have any old toys that you bought because you had them when you were little?! Let me know!

*I couldn't resist naming this post Trolly Pockets...get it?! Ahhh I am terrible!
A super rad blogger that I discovered recently had a cool idea of sharing geek spaces...
The Idea: Show
off your Geek Space. It could be your room, your office, your living
room, even your kitchen. You can include what's on shelves, you can show
off a little or a lot! There really are no rules. Now go on and show us
your #GeekSpace. When you're done send mollyskywalker[at]gmail.com an
email and she'll add it to the #GeekSpace master list(You're welcome to use the image above for your post if you like)
I thought it was such a cool idea and decided to share my favourite spots on my bookshelves! Check out more info here at The Princess and the Geek!
In one section I have my figurine of Lulu from Final Fantasy X along with a cactuar and moogle plushy also from Final Fantasy. In front I have my little Gizmo toy - I love his ears.
Another section houses my Walking Dead figurines that my brother Glenn bought me, a glass jar containing a bow tie from my best friend, a T-Rex that I bought from the Dinosaur Museum in Canberra and finally my Time Turner from Harry Potter!
Next are my Princess Leia Pop Vinyl figurine and tiny little Han and Chewy toys that I think I bought from Coles or Woolworths!
My favourite part are my Walking Dead Pop Vinyl figurines - they look so cool all lined up along with my Kaylee from Firefly figurine, she's my favourite <3
So those are my favourite spots in my geek space! Let me know what you think :-)
