5 End of Year Goals

Hello!  I've been neglecting this blog a bit. I still do my twice weekly posts that I always do, but I want to do more. This may take a little time as things in my life have changed drastically in the last few weeks and I wanted to address them.

My husband and I are no longer together, so I am moving out into the world on my own with our cats. I got a new job (still working with animals!) and will continue pet sitting as it's something I've worked so hard on and I've built up a fantastic reputation in my area! I'm moving soonish and will be looking for a roommate (scary!) so I have SO MUCH to do!

I'm starting a whole new chapter of my life so I decided to make a few end of year goals:

  1. Focus on myself
  2. Get rid of/sell my clutter around the house
  3. Make my new home mine once I'm there
  4. Really focus on my pet sitting and try to get new clients
  5. Stay in touch with friends more

Not too difficult really. Everything is so shit and stressful right now so I need to really focus on moving forward and being the best version of me that I can be!
This is pretty much my life - taking selfies with other peoples pets!
So! A lot happening! Sometimes it's really hard but I have the support of my family and friends <3

A Day in Bowral

Very recently, Nathan and I made some new friends in the Blue Mountains via a facebook page! They are a great bunch of people and we either go to dinner, out for drinks or whatever other shenanigans we can think of. Last week a few of us decided to go for a little day trip down to Bowral for some shopping and lunch and I snapped a few photos, here is a (very) brief recap of our day!
This bushy area was so lovely
The view from Mt Gilbraltar
We found some weird stuff that day (this isn't even that weird)
Can he come home with me?
Look at these beautiful little girls I met! Gorgeous!!!
Lunch at Bernie's Diner - AMAZING
I bought myself some new sunnies!
We stopped at the best place ever on the way home - The Lolly Swagman in Berrima!
And our final stop for a drink closer to home!
It was a very long and extremely fun day! I wish I'd taken more photos, so on our next adventure I will make sure I clear out my iPhone so I can take a million of them!
Have a wonderful day,

Photo An Hour - May 2015

I haven't done one of these for myself since 2013! I want to start doing them monthly! I was at home all day because a roofer was supposed to come to fix our roof and he didn't even show up or call. So annoying.
9am - starting my day with tea and toast with honey, my go to breakfast lately
10am - Animal Crossing: New Leaf  - I play every day, it relaxes me and I honestly think it helps my anxiety!
11am - I went out to do buy some groceries and treated myself to a proper coffee and donuts
12pm - writing an intro letter to a potential new pen pal and gazing at the lovely flowers Nathan gave me
1pm - eating lunch and watching The X-Files (obsessed right now)
2pm - this boy is the biggest sook ever. He sits on me and drools like this - cute but gross!
3pm - playing with this giant goober. He's in love with that orange toy, we can't get it away from him!

4pm - crafting time - I finished this that day - I should have taken my photo of it finished!
5pm - making a blog post
6pm - making a pizza for dinner!

All in all a good day, still annoyed that guy didn't call or turn up! Oh well
Take care,
Megan xo

My Current Morning Ritual

Since I have finished Uni for the year now, I have a sort of morning ritual that I have been pretty much sticking to everyday.
Now that it's getting warmer my favourite breakfast is a quarter of a rockmelon with yogurt. It's so delicious! Part of my ritual is lifting Violet up ten times and dropping her onto the floor because she keeps jumping onto the counter...I have a cat that likes to eat rockmelon...
I then like to sit at my desk and catch up on my youtube subscriptions whilst I eat my delicious rockmelon!
I also play Animal Crossing New Leaf when watching youtube videos (multi-tasking woo). Watering all my flowers takes a lot of time, gosh! (Please note I do not normally eat breakfast at 11:42am, but I was sick when I took these so I slept in really late which made me feel nearly normal! And yes I took these pictures over a week ago haha). Check out my house, my brother helped me collect all of the sweets stuff so it looks like a gingerbread house. My character is also wearing a hat that looks like a banana split...I really love Animal Crossing.

It's a pretty simple morning ritual, but I really enjoy it. Do you have any rituals?
