Sleepy Violet

The last time I made a blog post about the cats was in September last year, and the last one about Violet was in June last year! I recently took some super cute photos of her that I just had to share!
Angel

She makes the best faces!

I love this this whiskered weirdo so damn much!
Have a great day,

Violet - June 2015

I haven't posted a cat update for a while, so here are some photos of Violet! I took these last week when she was snuggled on my lap, and I was laughing so hard at her face that I was actually crying!

As you can see, she is the most perfect creature! What a face!
Take care

Little Violet

When I took photos of Violet with the donut pillow she was being particularly cute so I took a few photos. A few were so funny that I just have to share them.
Rudely awoken
Cranky
Leave me be
Why are you clicking your fingers woman?!
Look at her little nose :3
And this one...my new most favourite photo of Violet ever! Look at her fangs!
Violet is a cranky cat. She doesn't like being patted very much and is likely to try to scratch you if you pat her for one second more than she wants you to. When she wants to be affectionate though she is very sweet. She's also really playful and funny, and sometimes she curls up in bed with us at night. She's a precious little dumpling.

Easter Decor 2014

Good morning! I am a big fan of decorating the house for different celebrations, so I thought I would share my Easter decorations today! I haven't got many (unlike my house at Christmas!), but I am still happy with them.
I bought this basket from the Reject Shop for a couple of bucks and filled it with shredded pink paper to hold up the bunnies. I bought the Lindt carrots because I thought they would look cute (and they do!).
I also got this at the Reject Shop for $2! It's so cute!
And the only other thing I have is this jar that I added some sparkly washi tape too and filled with Easter eggs. I also have another bunny standing with it.

So there are only a few bits and pieces, but they still make me smile and you can't go wrong with chocolate! I also had a little chicken that I put with the jar of eggs....
but as you can see Violet took a liking to it!

If you celebrate Easter, I hope you have a nice time with your family and friends. If you don't celebrate Easter, I hope you have a nice 4 day weekend!

Violet Update

Our little baby Violet is slowly getting used to living with us. She's still a little butthead that scratches us if she's in a mood, but she also cuddles under the sheets with us sometimes too.
She is so naughty! You cannot make anything in the kitchen without her turning up. Most of the time she jumps up onto the counter and tries to eat whatever you're chopping. It's annoying, but she is so cute that we forgive her.
She is obsessed with running water. She drinks from the tap and when one of us is in the shower she sits right outside the door, waiting for us to open it so she can lick the water up.
Here she is with Noah, which is about as close as they get to each other. Noah normally hisses and runs away. If Peach sees her, she goes into hunting mode - her ears go flat and she stalks her. Poor Violet.
This final photo is from my instagram...oh my goodness. Her eyes are beautiful, and I love the little splash of white under her eye. She gets away with everything, our little Violent Violet.

Have a good day

Meet My Cats: Violet

Someone at my old job found a stray cat and they couldn't find her owners so Nathan and I decided to adopt her. They got her desexed and vaccinated and all of that jazz and she came to live with us! She unfortunately would not stop chewing at her stitches, they got infected and the vet put a cone on her head so she couldn't make them worse. Therefore the first pictures of her include her cone.
Poor little conehead
She is such a cutie. She's only around a year old and she's crazy.
She likes to hide under our bed and attack our feet with tiny ninja claws, she sits in the sink
and drinks from the tap and she is very moody but we totally love her!
Can I come outside?
Thankfully the cone came off ages ago, it was heartbreaking seeing her bumping into everything.
(OK it might have made me laugh a few times - therefore making me feel terrible)
She and Noah get along OK, they chase each other and play...Peach on the other hand is being an absolute cow. She attacks her all the time and Violet is a bit scared (as shown in the photo above), but lately she's been fighting back so I am hoping things will get better between them.
She's so smooth and soft and we have renamed her Pot Belly Pig because she eats SO much and gets this pot belly goin' on. It's too cute. We are so glad that we adopted her, she makes us smile.

Have a great day
