My Geek Space

A super rad blogger that I discovered recently had a cool idea of sharing geek spaces...

The Idea:
Show off your Geek Space. It could be your room, your office, your living room, even your kitchen. You can include what's on shelves, you can show off a little or a lot! There really are no rules. Now go on and show us your #GeekSpace. I thought it was such a cool idea and decided to share my favourite spots on my bookshelves! Check out more info here at The Princess and the Geek!

In one section I have my figurine of Lulu from Final Fantasy X along with a cactuar and moogle plushy also from Final Fantasy. In front I have my little Gizmo toy - I love his ears. 

Another section houses my Walking Dead figurines that my brother Glenn bought me, a glass jar containing a bow tie from my best friend, a T-Rex that I bought from the Dinosaur Museum in Canberra and finally my Time Turner from Harry Potter!

Next are my Princess Leia Pop Vinyl figurine and tiny little Han and Chewy toys that I think I bought from Coles or Woolworths!

My favourite part are my Walking Dead Pop Vinyl figurines - they look so cool all lined up along with my Kaylee from Firefly figurine, she's my favourite <3

this little snail mail stamp would be so perfect for stamping onto envelopes.

Daily Instax April 23 - May 6

I love taking my daily instax photo, it's so nice to have a little snippet of each day! Here's what's been happening for the last two weeks in my life (cats). 

When I kept Noah isolated he fell in love with this bed + morning porridge - I love cold weather

Baking potatoes on ANZAC day + Peach is jealous of Noah's special food

Fried ice cream + making a to do list and drinking coffee

Scaredy cat + I love when my babies sleep near each other

Got my hair done and it felt good so I was whipping it around + our new polar bear quilt cover!

Picking a nail colour (in terrible lighting) + I went to Blog Society's Unleash Creative event and they had this cool piano in the space being used. I had the best day making friends and making things - I might do a post about it soon!!

Here are my favourite Instagram pics from April - they are mostly of cats but if that's a surprise you know nothing about me!

My two girls <3

Noah's cone came off and he hid in laundry hamper so I couldn't put it back on + Violet hiding under the sheet

Precious sleepy girl + Amos wanted to smooch my phone 

I swaddled Violet + Noah loves to cuddle up at night <3

This isn't the first chicken I have found in our yard + *pokemon battle music plays*

A big bone to help calm Amos when Nathan mowed the lawn + Violet playing in my blanket - her eyes are amazing

Our vet often has kittens that need homes, I wanted to bring this little dude home + a poor sick Violet (she's getting better!)

Friday Fancies

Good morning. What a week! I didn't do my usual Monday and Wednesday posts and I blame my lack of ideas and the fact that another one of my cats got sick. I swear we take good care of them and the vet said that we aren't doing anything wrong, but these things happen! She will be OK, and that is the main thing. I did manage to find a few cool things this week though!

My final favourite is a new TV show that I watched this week called Defiance! It's a show made by SyFy and it has drama, action, sex, aliens, and a bunch of other cool stuff. I am really enjoying it and stars Australian Grant Bowler (from Blue Heelers heh), Julie Benz who was in Dexter and Buffy, Mia Kershner who played Jenny in the L Word (ugh Jenny), and a lot of other people that I recognise from here and there. Can't wait to catch up on this!

Daily Instax April 9 - 22

Let's see how many photos there are of pets this week...

Vegie hot dog + Noah isolated so he can eat his special food from the vet

A care package for the pets from my brothers fiancee + Noah happy and coneless <3 

Easter decor + a gift from my sister in-law for babysitting her kids - it spins! 

Trying (failing) to get a urine sample from Noah (litter tray filled with straws) + Violet loves to sit like this 

The ferris wheel at the Easter Show + an apple pie for dessert :-)

Nathan gave me my Easter present early (I've been asking for a Whitman's Sampler forever haha)
+ Easter lunch with my Mum - I ate so much pasta

My husband is an egg farmer, and we had to label all of these cartons! + Peach high on nip on the giant cat tower

The last two weeks have been really nice. It was nice to have my husband home a bit more over the Easter long weekend, and he gets a half day on Friday and Sunday off!
